E-Residency

E-Residency is a government-issued Estonian digital ID that enables entrepreneurs to run companies remotely using all e-governance services and avoiding a lot of bureaucratic issues. E-Residency was launched in 2014 and became a highly successful government program. Up to that moment, over 85.000 people from 140+ countries became e-Residents.
