Accounting is challenging, no matter how big your company is. That’s why one of the main goals of Enty is to make the accounting experience as smooth as possible. To achieve this, we’ve automated our services and added multiple ways to easily upload documents. Let’s take a look at how you can upload documents and ease up your accounting routine using Enty.

Connect Your Bank Account

A bank statement is a key document in an accounting report. It provides an official rundown of all transactions made from an account over a specific time period. This is crucial for reviewing your monthly financial information and ensuring that everything adds up.
In order to prepare an accounting report for your company, you’ll need to upload a bank statement, even if there was no activity for the period. If you connect your bank account to Enty, we will collect the data automatically, and you won’t need to think about bank statements in the future.
Connecting your bank account is totally safe. Our solution operates under the Payment Services Directive and EU regulations. Therefore, Enty fully complies with PSD2 requirements, including no unstable screen-scraping and no storing of user credentials.
In case you have any difficulties or we have not integrated with your bank yet, please upload the bank statements manually in PDF and CSV/XML format to your Enty account.
As every bank transaction must be supported by a document (invoice, sales report, act, or agreement), you’ll need to upload these documents on Enty. Let’s go over how you can do it conveniently.

Use Invoicing and Contracts on Enty

To ease up the accounting routine for your company, we recommend issuing invoices and contracts on Enty. This way, your outgoing invoices and contracts will be automatically integrated with accounting. All you need to do is upload incoming invoices to support the transactions indicated in the bank statement.

Mailer — Email Address for Your Invoices on Enty

To ease up the process of uploading invoices to Enty, you can simply forward them to a designated email address on Enty. You can find this address in the accounting service right under the “Receive by email” section.
If you receive invoices from your providers via email on a regular basis, you can set it as the default email for your providers or simply create a rule to forward the emails to this address. This way, an accountant will receive all invoices, and you will save time.
You can send or forward documents in PDF and PNG formats. After that, you will need to assign this document to the respective accounting folder in order to add it to the report.

Enty’s iOS App

At the moment, the app is in beta for iOS users only. It allows you to:
  • Upload accounting documents from your phone
  • Take photos of documents directly from your mobile device
  • Access accounting documents and reports for the previous periods
  • Chat with our support team

Upload Manually

Just go to the accounting section and press the “Upload Manually” button. There, you will be able to either choose local files on your device, or drag and drop them.
That’s it! Don’t forget to connect your bank account, use Enty’s services, and set up invoice forwarding to your email on Enty. This way, you’ll save time processing the documents.
